  • Cast

    Noah Brody (he/him) is an actor, director, teacher, and writer, and is co-artistic director of Fiasco Theater. For Fiasco he has directed Merrily We Roll Along (Roundabout). He co-directed and acted in Fiasco's productions of Into the Woods (McCarter, Old Globe, Roundabout, Menier Chocolate Factory), The Imaginary Invalid (Old Globe), Measure for Measure (New Victory, Long Wharf), Twelfth Night (Classic Stage Co.), and Cymbeline (TFANA, Barrow St. Theatre). For Fiasco he has also appeared in Fiasco’s production of Two Gentlemen of Verona (Folger Theatre, TFANA) and co-directed the national tour of Fiasco’s production of Into the Woods. He has directed a reading of Sondheim’s Saturday Night for Second Stage Theater, appeared in As You Like It (CSC, John Doyle, dir.), directed Lungs at the Wolfe Street Theatre, and acted at theaters around the country. He co-conceived the musical Pleasure Never Lies with Marshall Hagins, and received Theater Latté Da's inaugural Next Generation Commission with Jessie Austrian and The Kilbanes. He teaches acting and rehearsal technique through Fiasco and the NYU Gallatin School summer Shakespeare Intensive.

  • Playwright

    Crystal is an actor and playwright. She is a proud alumni of the Brown/Trinity MFA acting program, where she studied alongside many of her Fiasco peers, including her classmate Emily Young. Crystal has originated roles in over twenty world premiere plays on and off Broadway.  In 2022 she received the Theatre World Award for her Broadway debut in the play “Birthday Candles.” She is an affiliated artist with Clubbed Thumb where she has workshopped and performed in dozens of new plays and also been produced as a playwright. Her play “Ms. Lilly” was developed with Clubbed Thumb’s early career director’s program and was directed by Josiah Davis (also a Brown/Trinity alum!) and her play “Find Me Here” premiered in Clubbed Thumb’s Summerworks, last season and was directed by Caitlin Sullivan. Other plays include “The Faire” produced by Fault Line Theater, and “Becoming Liv Ullman,” which was a hit at the NY Fringe Festival and went on to the New Ground Theater Festival at Cleveland Playhouse.  She is thrilled to be collaborating with Fiasco after so many years of shared lineage.

    Emily Young (she/her) is an actor, musician, writer, director and educator. She is one of Fiasco Theater’s original company members.     Tina Chilip (she/her) is an actor and Fiasco Company Member. Off-Broadway credits include Fiasco’s Twelfth Night (Classic Stage Company); Mothers (Playwrights Realm); Golden Child (Signature Theater); House Rules, Flipzoids (Ma-Yi Theater); A Dream Play (NAATCO). Regionally she has performed at The Old Globe, Huntington Theatre, Guthrie, Hudson Valley Shakespeare, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Portland Center Stage, Berkeley Rep, Cincinnati Playhouse, Syracuse Stage, Trinity Rep, and others. TV: Jessica Jones, Law & Order: SVU, FBI: Most Wanted, It’s Bruno, Good Fight, Elementary, Deception, Madam Secretary. Film: upcoming feature Miguel Wants to Fight (Hulu).     A denizen of the downtown New York theater scene, Gibson Frazier has originated roles in some of the most acclaimed original plays written in the last fifteen years including Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play at Playwrights Horizons, Telephone at The Cherry Lane, and God’s Ear at New Georges. He was named one of the best off-Broadway actors by both THE VILLAGE VOICE and TIME OUT NEW YORK. His film and television roles include work Unsane; Frances Ha; The Other Two; Girls5Eva; Marvelous Mrs. Maisel; and The Knick. Gibson co-wrote, produced, and starred in the indie cult hit feature film MAN OF THE CENTURY which won the Audience Award at the Slamdance Film Festival and was cited by the National Board of Review for Excellence in Independent Filmmaking. He was an invited participant in Werner Herzog’s second Rogue Film school. Gibson is the writer/director of the indie narrative feature NO LONGER, NOT YET, currently in post-production. 

  • Cast

    Kristin Villanueva is a Filipino American actress most recently seen in the new Max series The Pitt. She has worked extensively across the US at prestigious regional theatres including the Goodman Theatre, The Old Globe, McCarter Theatre Center, in various classical pieces and new plays. She frequently collaborates with directors Mike Donahue and Mary Zimmerman. Her favorite TV and Film credits include Bonding, The Courtroom, and Troy. She is a SUNY Purchase graduate and is a proud member of The Actors Center.
