A Valentine for Sondheim

For Valentines Day, Fiasco came together to share our love for the one and only Stephen Sondheim - recording an evening of songs and and stories to share with all of you. This free event was be available to watch online from February 16 through February 20, and featured Fiasco company members and treasured collaborators from our productions of Into The Woods and Merrily We Roll Along, as well as other Fiasco performances, and alumni of Fiasco’s conservatory. We hoped to give a little insight into our experience working with Steve, and how both the lessons and the music he shared have shaped us individually and as a company.

It was a joy for us to delve back into Steve's material, reflect on his impact, and come together in appreciation of his artistry. To know how much it meant to you has made it even more meaningful for us. Your appreciation as theater lovers and audience members, your donations in support of Fiasco productions to come, and most of all your words of encouragement and love have made this endeavor all we'd hoped for and more.
